This schematic illustration separates the Typical arthroscopy setup into the three tools used every procedure (top white box) and the three tools that are optional every procedure (bottom grey box). The illustration also shows how many tubes/cables are connected to each tool and where they are connected to in the operating room.

This in-use illustration shows how the bundle system (Blue items) could be configured in the operating room. This configuration is for a right hip arthroscopy.

This is how the arm and attachments could be configured to have the cables hanging above the patient and near the mayo stand

Our wooden articulating arm prototype illustrates the height adjustability and clamping mechanism used in current surgical bed articulating arms

The articulating Arm would be Clamped along the standard surgical bed accessory Rail and have multiple points of articulation for a wide variety of configurations

Final configuration of sterile tray that accommodates the equipment for a shaver, scope, and the articulating arm attachments

Wooden models and guitar cables were used in prototyping since medical tools were difficult to access for sterilization reasons
